World Star Academy is a performing arts academy offering dance, singing, acting, and modeling programs for students ages 6-18 years old with locations across Southern California and twenty years of experience in training students and professional dancers, singers, actors, and models. Our mission is to help students build confidence and become world stars in life.

Ms. Lita Tavedikul

My life is dedicated to helping children build their confidence through performing arts. I believe that confidence allows kids to reach their fullest potential and achieve their dreams. When I was six, I failed first grade. My Mom stormed into the principal’s office and said to her, “If you let a six-year-old fail first grade, you are crushing her confidence for life!” I passed onto grade 2 immediately! Because my mom believed in me, I started believing in myself. And that changed everything!
I became a TV personality at 10 years old. I won the national singing competition at 12 and became a recording artist under PolygramRecords at 17. I completed my Bachelor’s Degree in Music Technology at New York University with a Magna Cum Laude and a Master’s Degree in Education at Framingham State University. I produced top-rated TV shows and collaborated with the biggest entertainment companies in Asia. The confidence I had gained through performance changed the course of my life and this was why I opened World Star Academy. For 20 years I’ve trained tens of thousands of kids and numerous artists. Throughout my career, I have seen countless transformations of shy kids into confident individuals.

Kevin

Kevin Nguyen is a choreographer for many world-renowned artists such as Daddy Yankee, Pharrell Williams, Justin Bieber, BTS, Paula Abdul, and etc. He is the Dance Director for World Star Legacy Crew, our Hip Hop team.

Taya

Taya Egorova is the champion of World of Dance and a choreographer for artists. She is the coach for Transformers, our Hip Hop team.

Isabel Papaleontiou is
a champion of World Hip Hop Championship in the Mega Crew Division.

Lita Tavedikul is the Founder and Director of World Star Academy. For over 20 years she has been an artist and a music and TV producer of top-rated TV shows and a trainer for artists.
